(hey why not both, i'm a western nut! -it'd be smart to do it the way POTC took a real life rugged lifestyle and added the mystical/unreal/magical oh hell - supernatural stuff. -in neveldine/taylor's hands, i'd trust this to be cool as hell, but i hope it wouldn't stray too far away from that 'western' feel, with all the hyper-realism stuff they do. but i'm sure they'll find a happy compromise, they are quite talented. -JUST NO 3-D WESTERN BULLSHIT, PLEASE!!!! -love jane, love fillion too - so either would be cool.

Being a long time fan of Jonah I'm excited about the movie I'm glad to hear hear that they dropped the supernatural stuff . Haave read the script review and it's gonna be a bad ass film .
