bought Be Kind Rewind this week. my brother and i were the only ones in the theater and the last ones to leave the building after this. maybe that added to the effect it had on me. anyways, i thought this was pretty good and don’t see how it could be viewed as disappointing.

Picked up Get Smart The Nude Bomb at Best Buy for 14:99. 16:23 after tax bs.
They seemed to only have 3 copies and they were hidden in the comedy section not in the New Release area.
(I reccomend Nude Bomb over this new Get Smart fiasco coming out this friday).

Also Jericho fans Best Buy has season 2 on sale for 19:99. Looks like the dvd set has some good special features.

790 - Yes, the original Get Smart movie The Nude Bomb is being released today as well.

Since there are so many DVD releases each week, the “also available this week” section only covers the most prominent of the bunch (otherwise it would be just a gigantic wall of text). But I can see why that’s not at all clear, so from now on it’ll instead be referred to as “other notable DVDs available this week.”

April, I’m sure M&Co is just being a little dramatic because he expected more than what he received on the film. I am the same. I was hoping for something fantastic and hilarious with BKR. I was left with disappointment in that movie as well. Could have been so much better. Although, as Adam said, it gave us the use of Sweded which has turned out some great online flick remakes.

Circuit City has Memento (Limited Edition), the Fresh Maker??

Because I like you guys, if you live near a Barnes and Noble were having a buy two get one free dvd, on everything. Complete Seaons and Blue Ray included. And if your a member you get ten percent on top of the deal. I have already built up a nice little blu ray collection thanks to it.

What? So I should see more bad films? Like Super High Me? No thanks…

I said BKR was disappointing because as a Gondry fan who was absolutely juiced about the premise I was expecting great things, not the irredeemable mess that it was. Clearly you’re a fan though so more power to you - we just wont be bumping into each other at the convention.

Be Kind Rewind is the most disappointing film I’ve ever seen.
In other news, Californication is outstanding and definitely worth the purchase. Can’t wait for season 2.
