Lionsgate released the first international (French) teaser trailer for Transporter 3. Jason Statham is back as Frank Martin, a professional “transporter” who has relocated to Paris to continue his low-key business of delivering packages without questions. Louis Leterrier opted to direct The Incredible Hulk instead of the third film, so French filmmaker and former graffiti artist Olivier Megaton (Second unit director for the Luc Besson produced Hitman) has attempted to fill his shoes. Robert Knepper, who you might know from Prison Break, appears as a villain. Judging from the intense teaser trailer, which looked like a mix of Transporter, Speed and Crank, we’re in for another kick ass action film. Tell me what you think in the comments below.
Watch the new teaser in High Definition on Allocine.fr. Transporter 3 will hit theaters on November 26th 2008.

I’m not really sure that three of these films are required, but this actually looks much better than both previous transporters. I do like how they’re trying to make it into a james bond type franchise, it’s a pretty interesting way to go about making this type of movie. Jason statham looks very sickly in this trailer though, I can’t quite put my finger on it but he looks different somehow.

It does look a lot better than 1 and 2….but I enjoyed 2’s trailer as well only to be disappointed…3 does look like it’s worth the risk to check out

I didn’t like the first two at all but that was a really well cut trailer; looks promising.

As long as there isn’t any blatantly ridiculously CG stunts or fight scenes on falling/submerging airplanes like in Transporter 2, I’m in.

I love the Transporter movies for good fun. I also like Crank for the same reasons. But it seems as if this one is similar to Crank with the scene where he wakes up on the gurney. I don’t know if I like how similar my Jason Statham action movies are getting.

Olivier Megaton for MEGATON OF FUN!!!! The action looks very tempting. I didn’t see the first two in theater and I doubt I would see this version anywhere else beside on my 50″ Panny.

I like how it’s called LE Transporter over there. We should do that here.

Nice to see the French tradition of wacky car stunts is alive and kicking.

Great early trailer. Action, a bit of the storyline (ridiculous as always, but oh well, it’s a Jason Statham movie), and I Wanna Be Your Dog.

I really liked the first film. I loved the second film (they could have done better with a more attractive villaness). I’m looking forward to number 3. If they put #1 and #2 together and multiply
the action by 10, I may not survive the movie.
