Terrence Howard revealed to Military.com that Iron Man 2 is scheduled to begin filming in March 2009. Howard is signed on to reprise his role as Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes, who will likely become War Machine. In the comic book series, Rhodes takes over the armor when Stark relapses into alcoholism after Obadiah Stane takes control of Stark Industries. Jon Favreau, who isn’t yet signed on for the sequel (but is expected to return), has recently said that the release of Hancock might eliminate the possibility of doing the Stark Demon in a Bottle storyline. Marvel has already announced a April 30th 2010 release.

War Machine will be good to see in the sequel but not to take over Iron Man, they have to have equal time in the film and have some awesome fights.
