You are not alone. When the negativity dries up, some people will be left with nothing! I am a total fan of Tom Cruise. I liked every film and will stand in any line for any amount of time to see “Valkyrie.” It’s pretty well documented that Kidman had an affair with her “Moulin Rouge” co-star and lost the baby. Cruise did not “rat” her out; he was a gentleman and only said, “Nic knows,” when asked about the reasons for their divorce. He spent some lonely times and his elation at finding Holmes may have gone over the top, but - he had found someone! Most men would not and could not jump up on a couch backward yet, to declare their devotion to a woman. Trash-talking is embraced when it comes to men describing their “lady,” but some of you cannot seem to forgive an expression of glee and true joy. He was right also about many of the things he said to Lauer in referring to the BRAVE NEW WORLD concept of prescribing medicine for every possible illness - sometimes prescribing the medicine before making up the illness - mental and physical, and nearly always encouraging overuse or addiction. Maybe he misused the word GLIB when CONDESCENDING would have fit Lauer better.

Cruise always walks into anything, a role, a relationship or an interview with “both guns blazing.” I think he’s great. He was robbed of an Oscar for BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY, MAGNOLIA,
and MINORITY REPORT! He always goes above and beyond for a role and I laughed myself silly at “Tropic Thunder.” Our country is supposed to embrace freedom of religion, just not for Cruise - apparently!

I hope that he is successful with “Valkyrie” and everything else. He is genuine and I am a true fan! Our country is riddled with negativity and, often, we wish people ill when we should wish them well! We have left the “ME” generation and entered into the “NEGATIVE” generation.

I can separate my dislike for Cruise’s religion from my opinion of him as an actor, and whatever you say about him, he always has time for fans at premieres.

But what does bother me is the way Cruise delivers the line, “Anything is a very dangerous word, Lieutenant.” That’s Cruise playing Cruise. Reminds me of the Scientology video.
