in other animated film news: kung-fu panda was absolutely fantastic! i’m not lying guys, it was a billion times better than ANY of the shrek sequels, and other than pixar, i think its the best one i’ve seen yet. also WAY better than the ice-age films. the voices were perfect especially hoffman (black is flawless, even if he irritates you), the images awesome, the story was very basic but cool.
now i doubt its as epic or as much of an acheivement as wall-e will be, but it’s certainly capable of filling theaters.
my only complaint was that it was too short, as i could’ve easily watched another 30-45 minutes or so. i highly recomend it.

ramping it up. wow. nice. I sense the Wall-e juggernaut taking off.
The Art of Wall-e book is outstanding.
Panda? I just can’t get into the Dreamworks computer animation style. There is just something about their style that feels cold. I see nothing different in what I’ve seen from KFPanda.

They had like a 5 minute sneak peek tonight after Finding Nemo and made me want to see this movie even more.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m drunk, but that was freaking AWESOME! I am so stocked to see this now. They are marketing this thing PERFECTLY.

well, KF Panda wasn’t too bad, but it could have been spectacular if they just stuck to the 2D animation they start the film with. Beautiful for 5 minutes. I hope I’m not the only one that hated that bait and switch.
Reminds me of the incredible animation sequences from Tank Girl. 5 minutes of movie that is perfect. What could have been.
