spiderman 4 will be great if they plan carefully. they have a huge list o characters to choose from as a new villain. hobgoblin, lizard, vulture, carnage, rhino the list goes on. one i'd love to see is a cross over like in the comic books. have for example the punisher or blade come into the spiderman film. after all..... if they are all based in the same sorta area why dont they bump into one another. wouldnt it be awesome if we saw wesley snipes have a cameo in a night sequence on a new spidey film. or maybe we see hugh jackman in a bar scene as wolverine when peter parker walks in or something.

but a new spiderman trilogy would be amazing as long asthey dont try to push it too much

I really liked Spider-man 3, and feel the parts everyone hates still needed to be in there. Venom should have been more developed, but I loved that FINALLY a villain didn't die. I am really hoping for the Lizard, they did a great job on teasing us with him. Killing off Harry was one of their biggest mistakes, but it did make a nice ending. If they re-cast Tobey, I doubt I could watch the movies. It'd be weird, but I could deal with Dunst be re-cast. Raimi should be replaced, but not left out of the films all together. Producer would be good for him.

Um, if you listen to the commentry and check out the art book you'll see Vulture was going to be the other villain alongside Sandman.

Oh and Ben Kingsley was apparently going to play him.

Sam Raimi should be banned from making another Spider-man movie. Spider-man is a leading force in the marvel universe and his cinematic legend should display that. Out of all the marvel superheroes Spider-man (and X-men) offer the most in good plots and storylines. You would think it'd be impossible to fudge them up, but Raimi seemed to find a way. There are plenty of good professionals out there in the "director's universe" and there is no need to keep Raimi around. The next Spider-man movie should return to the roots of the story, and hopefully can make up for what Spider-man 3 lost.

In short, Sam Raimi would be perfect for 13 Going On 30 2, but he should never be allowed to go near a super-hero ever again.

The reason Spidey 3 was horrible and hard to watch is because
it was more about MJ and her failing career than Spiderman!
The drama was ridiculously boring and I began to wish MJ would
finally die. How many times do we have to watch her get kidnapped
by the villian and dangled at the brink of death while Spidey
fights to defeat the villian and save her. Same scene in three
movies diffrent circumstances.

Gwen Stacy could have been a good addition instead the
charactered turned out to be a waste of space.

Emo Parker, strutting down the street Parker and the Jazz
club scene make me cringe at the mere thought.

Topher Grace was miscast and Vemon turned out to be a complete
waste of time. The motivation for him to hate Parker
was petty as he created most of his misfortune, but I can forgive
that part because people can be that petty and stupid.
The fact we saw Topher face so much still makes me angry.

The two things I enjoyed was the fight between Goblin 2 and Peter
and the restaurant seen with Bruce Campbell.

Maybe in a couple of years I could some excitement about another Spidey flick....but I'd like to see the movie recast and maybe even get a new director. I'm still trying to forgive Sam....but in his defense he did give us two awesome Spidey films.

I think the studio heads forcing Venom into Spidey 3 did affect the movie big time. I think it would've been a hell of a better movie if they just focused on Sandman and maybe redid a few of the Goblin 2 aspects..and removed the dance scene..and didn't include emo parker..or 10 minute long omelette making session between MJ and Harry. Nevermind, that movie sucked. Here's hoping 4 is a return to form!

Yeah, the jazz sequence and the whole puss-ification of Spider-man in general. Yes, he was a reflective character, but he wouldn't spend the whole comic/tv show sitting around and whining.

I reeeeally want to believe that the movies to come for Spidey will be better than what they've handed to him. He deserves better people!

Right on Orange Cinema!!

That was one of my favorite scenes no doubt! We have all been waiting for Parker to bitch slap Hobb Gobb, especally after the first scene in the film where Parker does the "lord of the Rings" chase....
I also loved the Crane sequence with Gwen, all the Venom Scenes with Topher, the black suit scene with Sand Man were he sinks his boat in the subway was great!
All the scenes with Sand Man were awesome, the final battle at the end awesome!!!

I don't get why some hate this film....?

@ 790

i pray you're right, and that they get this mad (especially if its 4&5 back to back) i literally just finished watching sm3, and i notice every time i watch it, more things that i like. how vicious was that fight between tobey & franco before tobey reacts & throws the bomb at franco's face?! great anger to that scene. for me the movie failed, but i do like parts of it.

and yes, i am totally cluttering up this page, but i can't help it.

i pray you’re right, and that they get this mad (especially if its 4&5 back to back) i literally just finished watching sm3, and i notice every time i watch it, more things that i like. how vicious was that fight between tobey & franco before tobey reacts & throws the bomb at franco’s face?! great anger to that scene. for me the movie failed, but i do like parts of it.

Yeah Scott, I wouldn't consider Zodiac one of my top favorites but it was amazing.
The cast was perfect.
(Some of the violent scenes were so real that I don't want to see them again, however the story was compelling and the Cinematography was top notch.
(I loved the opening with the Fireworks).
There were some problems with continuity but overall a great film.

On Spider Man 4,,,,,
This is great news, as I think I'm the only one (on earth) that loved Spider Man 3......!
Raimi and Tobey are going to make this work.
Great news and I need some after the Terminator 4 rumors this week. Sheeesh ka bob.
