Last week a /Film reader named Bruno V submitted a very cool fan-made insert-style poster of The Dark Knight. Bruno has returned with another fan rendering of a poster for Paramount’s live-action G.I. Joe Movie. I’m surprised at what he was able to create with the limited images available.

That’s better than some official photoshop-made posters that are out there. Well done to the original guy for having a good eye and working well with his resources.

Nice one Captain Awesome.
Is anyone else thinking about Star Wars?

im thinking how i hate when a guy wuth a gun will pose on a cover of something, casually holding a gun, but the gun is going off. who holds a gun like that and pulls the trigger? or when i see cover art, and the main character has a smart ass little smile, and he/she is pointing a gun and the friend or boy/girlfriend is standing next to them. if i was in a position where i have to aim my gun, its probably not safe to be near me due to stray shots and such from the person i am aiming at.

Bruno, nice poster once again. It makes me want to make one as well. I think it could also be a nice idea for a poster competition hosted by /film.
@ big daddy; I don’t know much about guns but don’t they have safety - the sole purpose of which - is for when people holding them pose for pictures? Although the guy with the machine gun seems careless with what he hits around. And him resting his hand on the shaft is unrealistic because it would probably get hot.

@ ivan
i only noticed how unnatural the pose is. but you get my point, those poses dont make sense. no one would stand like that and shoot any gun. on the cover of star wars battlefront, the same thing happens. a storm trooper is walking towards the ‘camera’ and his gun is in a natural position, pointing upwards, but it is firing at the same time.. looks stupid

Yeah, it’s the only thing that throws this poster off. Otherwise, the design work’s amazing. Well done.
