ST2 it’s consider to be bad because it s not into the big picture of the war and it s not continuing the story of the first ST.
However try to think of it as an episode of the war, which is separated from the big war, showing a grup of troopers fighting and encountering new tyepes of bugs which are overall contributing at the bigger picture of ST.
If you re into this story i think you ll like the 2nd movie , and it will be fairly intristing.

Point to consider. ST2 was a low budget film aroud 7 mil( ST1 100 mil). ST3 as was pointed above ,9 mil , so before you criticize think that this movies do not have the budget of LOTR or matrix,
However people seem to criticize eveything on the same level

Well i have read many comments about the ST series and 99% criticize it, which means its an intresting movie after all. All people see things their way and comment the movie at a superficial level without having any clue about the book, the ST Chronicles or the ST story.
However i think all 3 of the movies are great, ( even if the 3rd one gets a bit weird religiously at the end). Any of the “apes” that are into it would think the same , and would see that the whole concept of ST is great even if it was maybe a bit poorly expresed because of budget restrains.

most of the people complain about ST 2 and 3 but they fail to see the story the idea and the purpose of the ST SAGA , which overall tels a lot about humans the way thei behave , organize , and carry wars….

I enjoy anything related to the ST story and the 3 rd film, and i would be glad if there would even me a ST4 (preferably with a bigger budget, but i ll go watch it anyway).

I’m not sure who is reporting the budget of STARSHIP TROOPERS 3 as 20 million. In fact it was less than 9million. Many of us who worked on this worked on our own time to help make it as good as possible under the circumstances.

We do appreciate hearing from those who enjoyed the film, after all that work.

All 3 Starship Troopers films will be coming out on Blu this Aug in the US (box set and separate) btw.

Yeah. It looks neat. I like how they stuck with miniatures (as far as I can tell), instead of trying to do everything with crappy CGI. I really liked that about the first movie.

wait, there was a part II? The best exterminator has to be THE CROW, i guess. bronson was lame (they def need to remake that. its a no brainer). WE REALLY NEED AN OVER THE TOP SEQUEL. LETS GO PEOPLE LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN. thanks
