The book was so touching and heartwarming. It’s sad to know that people judge the story just by the trailer. The trailer was so cute!

i loved it. its really cute and fun, and i dont understand how people can have such strong objections to what is 30 seconds of a puppy and 2 actors who you really shouldnt judge in these roles until you watch the movie running across the screen.

Read the book twice. The puppy is just how I would have imagined Marely- free spirited, adorable and determined to beat to his own drum. Cant wait for the movie but dont know if I will be able to stay for the ending.

The snipet of the trailer doesn’t hold a flame to absolute total involvement I attained as I read, literally, the first entire book of my adult life and I’m 60 this year. No other story captured me as Marley & Me. This is the first story that caught my heart and I had to live the story right up to the last word.–John

The trailer sucked, but any trailer that is nothing but Jennifer Aniston running at full speed on the beach, I will check it out. Reminds me of the good old Baywatch days!

WHY ? This is just one of those “bloody good books” that should have been left alone. The whole point is no matter how you read M&M it’s a very personal journey especially for other dog owners that isn’t going to work on screen.

Is Hollywood now this desperate ? I await M&M to get the Fast Food Nation treatment.

Anybody notice that the plot synopsis is almost exactly the same as Wilson’s “You, Me and Dupree” (down to the ‘yellow furball’)?

No. Nobody saw that movie except for me.

Truth: I never said the trailer indicates a romantic comedy, I said that fans “were shocked at the typical romantic comedy-esque casting of Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston.”
