Okay may-be not. But Mike Myers and Dana Carvey reunited as Wayne and Garth for the first time in probably 15 years. The duo appeared in a new Wayne’s World segment on the MTV Movie Awards last night. They counted down the top 10 porno names based on hit movies in 2008. Watch the clip below.
I know Wayne’s World 2 was pretty bad, but watching this makes me wonder why Mike Myers is making even crappier-looking movies (ie The Love Guru) instead of Wayne’s World 3. And besides, what is Dana Carvey doing these days? But that also brings up the question, do kids these days even know who Wayne and Garth are?

I think Dana Carvey disappeared in the mid 90’s due to a cancer thing, then he came back to do that Master of Disguise movie.

Why do I get the feeling that they did this to test to waters, make a little ruckus, and see if there WAS an interest in Wayne’s World 3?
The first Wayne’s World is a classic. The second is plagued with many problems, but still has some funny moments, the perfect example of a mediocre comedy.
I’d be all for a third, if for nothing else than to bring Dana Carvey out of retirement (and keep Mike Myers away from shit - or what looks like shit - like The Love Guru).

To be honest, I’m a bit young (20) to have been a part of the Waynes World thing when it was around and never really got around to seeing it. I’m aware of what it is, but I can see the current generation of teens not even knowing it exists.

dana carvey has an HBO (or maybe its showtime) special coming out in a few weeks. it looks pretty funny, the title is something about monkeys. i laughed alot at this clip, i’d love to see another waynes world movie. and when did mtv awards shows get so f-ing funny?! this plus the tropic thunder clip you posted are classics.

Awesome. I’m a Wayne’s World fan, and although the first is clearly better, the 2nd isn’t as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Christopher Walken, Slash, Chris Farley, a ton of other band cameos, plus the same people in the first except Rob Lowe. The scene with the eye at the counter is hillarious, but I can see why the 2nd isn’t up to par.
Anyway, a 3rd would be fantastic. Here’s hoping.

i turn 20 this August, and -I- remember LOVING Wayne’s World when i was little. xD; first time i saw it i was about..hmm.;..5 or something. really young. had it on VHS actually. by the time i was 7 i was watching Rocky Horror Picture Show with dad every halloween.

I actually think Wayne’s World 1 + 2 are equally funny, but I’m probably in the minority on this one.
Anyway, no more new movies. Mike Myers needs to go on a real spiritual journey to try and make some new jokes or something.

Sure Myers has been recycling most jokes for twenty years, Wayne’s World is kind of dated and a lot of kids these days don’t know who they are; the jokes are still funny, an updated story has great potential and nobody knew who Wayne and Garth were the first time around either.
So I’d say a Wayne’s World 3 would be fun.
BTW, Myers and Carvey are still hilarious.

They shoved nearly every Wayne’s World joke in that skit….
most of them still work for me because I was/am such a fan.
I still watch the Wayne’s World movies from time to time and
the kiddo enjoys them too.

I actually quite enjoyed Wayne’s World 2. It was more of the same, sure, but that’s what people wanted, really. And second, it had 100% more Christopher Walken. ‘Nuff Said.

They did a really good job on the segment, coulda been straight out of SNL.

I’m 16, and I have to thank my mother for introducing me to Wayne’s World in mid 2007. I didn’t know that they did a reunion sketch on MTV until I saw a report of it on the news, and I flipped out and nearly blew chunks!!! Although it’s a bit risque for my tastes, I still LOVED seeing them again after Wayne’s World 2 (btw, I love the second movie, but the first one is still better.)

Im 14 and my sister is 19 and we watch Waynes World all the time! It is one of our Fav Fav movies! I agree that alot of kids my age havent heard of it but i say make a 3rd anyways if it is as good as the first then it will get more kids my age involved plus it will deff please all us fans! :D

I’m only 12 and I think that both of the movies are hilarious. But not many people my age have seen it. But I absolutely love both of the movies. They should make another one…. =]
