The /Filmcast: After Dark - Episode 1

/FilmCast

The /Filmcast: After Dark is a recording of what happens right after The /Filmcast is over, when the kids have gone to bed and the guys feel free to speak whatever is on their minds. In other words, it’s the leftover and disorganized ramblings, mindfarts, and brain diarrhea from The /Filmcast, all in one convenient audio file. In our first episode, Dave, Devindra, Adam, Dave3, and Peter discuss the difficulty of following comic books, the possibility of The Runaways on film and the ethics of Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. Neil from Filmschoolrejects also joins us to assert that not all bloggers live in their parents’ basements.

Join us on Monday night when we review RAMBO (NOT The Strangers), which was just released on DVD May 27, 2008. We’ll also give our detailed impressions on the Lost season finale. If you have any feedback/questions/comments/complaints, feel free to contact us at slashfilmcast@gmail.com.

Forget lost, Rambo's back and better than ever.
Rambo 4 was spectacular, the visuals and location shots were amazing.
    Good story too.
Sly, was great as the mentally damaged warrior. I was constantly blown away watching this film!!

The ending was brillant, I look forward to a sequel.

Lost finale was amazing, it did not have the M. Night Shyamalan esque twist that last year's finale did but it was still very good including the coffin reveal which opened up so many possibilities.
  • I found your perspectives on bloggers vs more traditional publications/the world really interesting, possibly as I'm a blogger myself (albeit music inclined). Great stuff anyway, looking forward to future editions!

nice! I'm excited to hear what ya'll have to say about the lost finale. That show is a true event in television, who's influence can be seen throughout many shows already. I was just telling someone the other day how truly sad I'll be when its over in a few years.

If you guys take suggestions, I wonder if you'd be able to talk about this idea: do you think they'll end the series with a feature film? I'd love to see it, s'long as it was made strictly for the fans, not one of those films that is easily accessable for anyone.
