I think it’s prejudice that you’re assuming that if you’re a women then you like or get excited about romantic comedies. Or that if women like a film it makes it bad.

Surely a good film is a good film regardless of genre. If you’re going to start being a genre snob then what kind of critic are you?

I think Wanted looks awesome, I think the Dark Knight looks awesome but I also appreciate a fun, upbeat romantic comedy that provides a bit of escapism and makes us think even if it’s just for a few minutes after the film that hey maybe there’s a guy out there who isn’t a complete asshole.

Romantic Comedies are life draining. I endure them for as long as I can when my wife wants to watch them at home. But most the time I walk away and work on the computer.

Greg Behrendt is not funny. I saw his stand up on Comedy Central and I thought it was not as hip as he thought it was. I also have seen his day time Ricki Lake type show. He looks like a Douche on that show. Using words like “dude” and “bro” does not make you hip. I didn’t read the book, so I have no idea how it translates to others.

Looks like a fun film!!! I’ll definitely be there because of Jennifer Aniston-one of my favs…read a few snippets from people who have seen the rough cut. They all said Justin Long is great in it and both Jennifers were excellent. Can’t wait to see all the couples in action!!!Loved the book!

Funny enough, the title of the movie is a direct like from Sex and the City. I happened to watch this episode during the weekend, not like I had it stored in my mind. Berger says it to Miranda when Carrie takes him to meet the friends for the first time. Had you not mentioned them, I would’ve said someone was stealing!

How can anyone hate Jennifer Aniston? She’s in one of the greatest fanboy fan films of all time - uh, Office Space…heard of it? Also “The Good Girl” and “She’s the One”? These are great movies - don’t understand the un-love here.

Also, it’s great to see Kevin Connolly in a real movie.

personally, i’m sick of this over-marketedness of this ‘book’.

BUT maybe it’ll make a great -sit-on-the-couch-and-watch-while- eating-ice-cream- movie…i’ll wait for the DVD.
