I had NEVER seen the Evil Dead movies (but I have now!) Plus, it is also a hilarious send-up of musicals in general. So if you have ever seen any horror movie, or any musical, you will like it. Keep an open mind! You don't have to get splattered! You don’t need to be a fan of the Evil Dead movies to love this play - it is very clever with great music and is downright hilarious. The Splatter Zone was a lot of fun, especially when I got to walk around afterwards with blood on me. The songs are really catchy too. If you aren't for the release of the play, buy the CD.
