This movie looks great. I cant wait to see it. Looks like it will be quite a challenge for Shia because this role is different then any of the others he has played before. I cant wait to see it in Theatres!! Shia and and Director of Disturbia make a great team. Disturbia is a classic and it looks as if Eagle Eye will be headed in the same direction. I LOVE YOU SHIA!!!

I would undoubtedly have confidence with a DiCaprio/Scorsese film over a LaBeouf/Spielberg film each and every time. I wouldn’t even think twice about it.
However, I’d have a much harder time predicting the outcome between a De Niro/Scorsese film and a Hanks/Spielberg film.

Wow, I don’t get what’s the big deal on Shia being in the flick. He’s an okay actor who can get stuff across with messing up.

Anyway, this trailer did look like somewhat of a rip off of The Matrix and Enemy of the State, but from pics from the set and the plot, it could be very different….

seriously i’d watch shia in anything, he has yet to star in a movie that was not seiously flawed but he’s still fun to watch.that trailer was pretty fucking awsome though and shia looked great

Failing to watch the trailer yet again, I can only comment that it is a bad idea to take Robot Chicken sketches and turn them into movies.

Unless of course that movie is Eagle Eye!

i’m shocked that shia can play a tough guy role. it’s hard for child actors to make the transition to adult roles. shia still has 5-6 years to go before he loses that teen actor glow.

DiCaprio is a great actor, the fact you even compared Shia to him makes me think you’re on some form of medication. Shia always plays the same guy in every movie. He also loves the word “No!” a bit too much.

Dave: While I loved The Departed, I actually think the Shia/Spielberg duo is way better. Leo just exudes this arrogant bunghole vibe which I hate, while Shia plays the average Joe great.

I’m hoping more Matrix twists in this movie. Like maybe the caller is (gasp) Jesus.
