Metal sculptures are starting to become really popular within the geek community. Robot Models, the Phuket Thailand-based sculptor company have created a 7-foot 485-pound Transformers Optimus Prime sculpt is made from old junk parts. Very bad ass, but extremely expensive with a price tag of $4,838.71 (I wonder how they came up with that really strange money figure).

The artist could have posed it better. Maybe in a fighting stance.

It’s probably such a random price in USD due to a flat price in Thailand - not everyone bases their business around America ;)
