Sorry to inform everybody but Nacho Vigalondo (the director from the original) only said this :
“Mira, si se confirma el rumor ese de que la va a hacer Cronenberg, me retiro.”
Translated ->
Look, If it is confirmed that Cronenberg is going to direct the remake turns true, I retire
He was talking about a rumor, maybe trying to hint something while saying this, but only a rumor.

Agreed. He’s made some unforgettable movies with even more unforgettable scenes. The exploding head scene in Scanners is still as vivid in my head today as the day I saw it.

I still get dissapointed thinking about what he could have done with Total Recall. His version would have been nuts, I’m sure.

This film “Time Crimes” sounds interesting. I look forward to seeing what he does with it.
