Zakk Wylde doesn’t really need 2 “act” he is thor watch him perform live.
If he can get the accent which I know he can from hearing him fooling around its over Zakks stage precent would make a big impact on screen as Thor even b4 he opens his mouth go 2 youtube and watch Superterrizer (live) by black label and watch some interviews you will see he was born 4 it he’s already a Guitar God it aint much of a stretch 4 him 2 be a Norse God

Matthias Hues is a good solution to who should play Thor. An old school martial artist/actor would be better than a “professional wrestlers” any day of the week. Even though you give a good answer I still stick with my answers: “Matthew McConaughey looks the part for Captain America but can he act the part, Ben Foster but he already is Angel so he is out. I would like to see him reprise that role, Guy Pearce as Captain America, Kevin Sorbo as Thor, and Ryan Phillipe as Captain America.” But at the same time I am growing on the idea of Pitt being Thor. He might not be the one that looks the most like Thor but he would do a good job at acting in my opinion. If he trained like the guy in 300 he would look a bit closer to Thor. There might have to be some CGI work also to achieve the full Thor look. Brad Pitt would have to combined his look from Troy as Achilles, a Spartan from 300, and classic model of Thor to achieve a decent look for Thor.

My choice for THOR is Matthias Hues. He has the size (6ft. 4 1/2″), the muscular build. The Scandinavian look (even thought he is German). long blond hair. Best know as the villain in “I come in peace”.

If you compare the picture above and the picture below you will find that Brad Pitt may not be the ideal Thor.

KARL URBAN (PATHFINDER) would make an excellent THOR. Brad Pitt would actually be good for CAPTAIN AMERICA, but he’s cast already…

Yeah Karl Urban and Jason Statham would be great, they have a better heroic proportion and acting stints , brad pitt can be cap too but could be less bulky i guess..

I’m with ryan on this, Karl Urban is the man for the job. Look at him as Eomer in Lord of the Rings parts 2 and 3. He has the physique, the presence and he can ACT. And whoever it is must NOT speak with an American accent.

If they cast a lump of meat who was selected for bicep size I won’t go to see it, and Thor is one of my all-time fave Marvel characters.

A “professional wrestlerâ€ would be a bad idea, even thought they are actors and some have performed quit well on the sliver screen, but they are not Thor material. I need a real actor thatâ€™s not shining like Brad Pitt. Like I said he can acted itâ€™s just he to much of poster boy. I would like more of a small never heard of actor then a high paid star. If there is one star that fit the bill it would be Pitt.
