I just hope Miller sticks with the bright colors that were in the leaked photos…Will Eisner envisioned a colorful world, If anyone has checked out original artwork…
Lionsgate is going to have start their aggressive marketing campaign soon….because the interest from the average person is very low..it might be another “Speed Racer”..I think Miller’s name and 300/Sin City titles used the trailers are going to push this flick…besides that people have no idea what the Spirit is…it’s kind of like what happened with “Dick Tracy”, “the Shadow” and “the Phantom”…all movies are similar to it…and nobody knew or cared about the characters

i saw the trailer for spirit in front of iron man, and im not too sure.. its kinda sorta just like sin city. and i think miller needs to change his font.. but sam jackson is the shit

i’ve seem ironman twice in the theaters now, and both times when sam jackson comes on at the end for his nick fury cameo, the audiences have started to laugh outloud (several friends of mine have experienced the same thing) and while i’m still not sold on the direction marvel has chosen to go with the black nick fury, i at least wish they would’ve gone with someone other than SJ. you can’t really take the guy serious anymore, and fury is a hard-ass-tough-as-nails guy: he’s the definition of serious, while sam jackson has sadly become a parody of a badass.
