It has long struck me that Barcelona would serve as the perfect Euro backdrop for American film makers inspired by such places. It has been vastly underused throughout the years in favor of Paris. I know we have seen Barcs in film before but speaking as an American that has made 6 European trips, the Catalan capital should add lust and luster to Allen’s work
