mcteigue_james.jpgDirector James McTeigue looks to follow-up his gig on the Wachowskis-produced Ninja Assassin, currently in production, with Revelation, a thriller with a sci-fi twist from Inferno Distribution. The pic will follow a female journalist following a string of “bizarre murders and discovers that the victims were all treated by the head of an org that researches alien abductions.” The brothers Wachowski are not listed as being involved this go around. John Salvati, who penned 2009’s Dali and I: The Surreal Story starring Al Pacino, wrote the screenplay. Nothing about this news makes me raise an eyebrow or a sparkler just yet, you?

Any minute now the Wachowskis will be announced as executive producers and script writers, they will then proceed to screw the entire movie over.

Sounds good, so far I loved what he did with V For Vendetta. And I am very excited about the Ninja film.

Was that the best pic of James McTeigue you could find? Btw how do you pronounce McTeigue?

They are no longer the “brothers Wachowski”…just… look it up.

I’m personally glad to see a return to the laien/sci-fi/extraterrestrial theme. I’ve missed it since the days of X-Files and am not too sure if the sequel to the X-files film will be able to resurrect the theme all by itself.
