Dude! Blood Car is awesome. It’s sick, funny, bloody, then sick again, just for good measure. It reminds me of John Waters’ stuff, without the insane amount of over-acting or fat ladies in baby cribs. Much of the film is too dirty to make it into the trailer, which may explain why the trailer seems a little thin. When I saw it at the Atlanta Film Festival, a woman left the theater and complained to the manager about the “pornography” that they were showing. While I wouldn’t under any circumstances call it pornography, I wouldn’t recommend watching it if you’re an old lady.

This is a great little midnight film, saw it at Toronto After Dark last year.

Well worth it to watch with a bunch of friends and a few drinks!

I think a lot of people are going to be interested in this based on the nostalgia factor or the boner factor alone.

It was a long time ago so I need to remember.

It was a good idea for a film with a good premise but it ultimately failed in the end. The story was filmed on a low budget which was its first problem. It didn’t seem real. The actors just acted as though they were reading off a script and didn’t even care. There is though a ton of blood in between those parts to keep the average horror or movie fan interested for quite a while. In the film, there is a sick scene near the end that was quite disturbing, even for my tastes and I think TCM was only somewhat disturbing. Back on topic, the film turned out to be one of those cheesy romantic stories. Girl loves boy, boy loves girl, boy falls for another girl, and it just goes on with that plot line. It’s an OK film. Good to just spend a sunday after noon watching but nothing to anticipate.

I like the premise but it looks like they’re taking a different approach than what i’d suspect. the editing in the trailer was extremely fun and creative but i don’t think we got to see much of the film. if it was extremely good they would show more from the actual movie. i have a sneaking suspicion its gonna be really flat and only semi-funny. I’ll wait for another trailer cause this looks like it could potentially be gold or just another mediocre edgy indie.
