I haven’t seen a frame of footage from the Sandler flick but from the synopsis it looks like the kinda ideal fare that family audiences will lap up during the x’mas period. Spirit still stands a chance though as counter programming and in offering audiences something different during the holiday period. Just hope the reviews are very, very positive for it.

But, as I will be home for Christmas, I know the ladyfriend will drag me to either Time Traveler’s Wife (which I’d be OK with) or Marley & Me (which I’d be much less thrilled about). I’ll go see the Spirit with my pops.
