Greetings to our readers in Poland. XFilesNews nabbed an odd Polish one-sheet for this summer’s The X Files: I Want to Believe. Why does Mulder’s face look like it’s been rebuilt with wax? Creepy. Thus far, the marketing has played up the bleary snow imagery and black helicopters to such a great extent that the plot’s mystery creature(s) seems like nothing more than a MacGuffin. Give us a howl, lumbering shadows, a na-nu-na-nu, something, anything! No more ominous staring and standing and cold weather.

I love the blood-in-the-snow effect, but it looks like they just cut and pasted everyone against a back drop using MS Paint. I’m also not a fan of the creep half-shadow on Muller’s face.
Why is it that a lot of movie posters these days look cheap and tacky? I hate this trend. Photoshop can be your friend as long as it’s used correctly.

At first glance, I couldn’t decide if that was blood or oil. Kind of a cool concept, but obviously thrown together by subpar graphic artists.

Poster must improve..this is dreadful..But I really hope that the film itself will turn to the roots of it’s series, like Carter promised…But for the poster, absolute let down.
