Could this be actual concept artwork showing us what Two-Face’s “other side”? ComicBookResources seems to think so. Click on the image to see the unblurred spoilerific photo. One thing is for sure, this isn’t Joel Schumacher‘s Two-Face… Ad even if the photo above isn’t real, I’m sure the end result will probably be pretty similar. What do you guys think?

Well, given what he says in a post below about the make-up being “gross” this might be close to the truth. If so, I say thank goodness! Bring it on. I always thought the previous screen versions were way to tame. Something horrible needs to happen to change Mr. Dent into a wacko and not just go see a plastic surgeon.

That’s not really the point for me anyway. I want the experience of still being excited when I first see it on screen. Even if it’s “just” concept art. I want to take in all of Nolan’s revisions no matter how old the characters are.
This could have easily been curtailed with just a “link” to the image.

This IS a spoiler, but in this day and age you cannot see a movie without knowing everything about it. Now batman is ruined for about 15 people, including myself when I saw the image before I knew it was a spoiler.
I knew everything about Iron Man before it came out, the movie was ok, but I knew what was going to happen because they release over 9000 things about it.
Omg, this site if full of fail and it makes me not want to go on the internet anymore.

The toy makers are going to have a hard time getting the details on the action figures, that’s for sure. Perfectly in line with the film’s dark and realistic tone. Can you imagine this guy hunting down the Joker at all costs? I have the feeling the sequence where Dent is disfigured is going to be really intense, in the vein of Murphy getting killed in Robocop. Not as bloody, I’m sure, but still jarring to see a strong and good character being subjected to such mutilation.
Anyone else thinks the disfigured side looks zombie-ish? Not that I’m complaining - this film seems to be getting everything right, with all the positive hype about it, just like Ironman.

The Batman Begins was all about being more realistic than the Comic-Operas before, so this Design perfectly fits in that line. And yes, the previous pic was a spoiler. So what. I love spoilers! ;)

Im glad to see the positive reactions here about the concept. If it holds true, I have complete faith in what Nolan has done. He did an amazing job in grounding Batman and the mythos in a more tangible and grittier way that I have always looked for.
I loved what he did with the Scarecrow, Joker, Batman, and even Batman’s “toys”.
Can’t wait :)

I think it has to do with them keeping it underwraps as well. The Joker was a pass for me since it was more about what Ledger was planning to do with the character, and it looks like the Joker I’ve always dreamed of.
Dent has been kept in secrecy and I just wanted that “one” character to be kept that way in terms of seeing it on film. Luckily we get no more trailers to give away much more.

I actually think it looks pretty good too. The only thing is, i’ve never seen a burn victim with actually black/gray skin. Their faces are strangely discolored, but not like one side a chicken left too long on the grill. It’s fantastic other than the black/gray-ness

Darkman looked grosser then that. There’s not enough detail between the contours of the nose meeting his face and up. Stands out big time, and not in a yeah he’s burned kinda way, but in a compositing not good kind of way.

Nice retro-cite and Darkman was indeed pretty gross but as @ pat already stated we don’t even know if this is real or not yet to know if Two-Face will be more or less gross than Darkman. Going by Eckhart’s evaluation though, Liam Neeson may be having a run for his money in the gross-out-a-meter.

LOOK at the new trailer! Three quarters through it you see Harvey holding a gun riding in a car, With his new face!! Its away from the camera but if you pause it you can tell hes changed, so he does become 2 face in this film.

It’s most def. fake. It could be concept art, but it isn’t the final thing by far. If you look at the trailer you can tell whenever he’s holding the gun that the burn doesn’t go right down the middle.

Just saw the image.
Amazing. Apparently..I don’t know if it can be trusted, but I read someone elses comments on another talkback that his friend is working on the History Channel’s special on Batman’s mythos and legends, and they have a clip of Two Face. he said that the car scene is the first introduction of him, he’s turned profile..then at the last moment, he turns to reveal the face. Says its spot on.
But I guess we’ll see!

I saw the pic and it looks great. It would’ve been good if they had at least left a couple of hairs on the bad part. His hand should’ve been burnt to just to make it seem more like half his body is different. Now that Warner bros. has had the pic taken down means it must be legit.
WB might’ve taken down the pic cuz they don’t want fans to know how the Two-Face looks like. If that is so, I would think think that WB is smarter than that. It will seem obvious that the pic is real since they took it down. Since Nolan said some of 2-Face would be CGI, the pic cleary shows that it will be.
WB might’ve taken it down just to let fans believe that this is the real 2-Face. But not even I would think that they are that smart. If i were them thinking of this, i wouldn;t bother other sites and ask them to to take down their pics of 2-Face.
* For those of you that were saying that the pic looks fake, it is just a concept art. You swear that the real pic would get shown online. This pic is real but it doesn’t mean that that is how 2-Face will look like. Maybe it comes real close to that which is why it was taken down.
I think the real Two-Face will be looking close to the pic and that the reason it was taken down was that the pic looked too much like the final product.

I am sure on screen its will still be quite different and much more disturbing. Plus its just. a. fucking. face. I read about Ras before seeing the first one and it did not ruin the movie for me one bit and that was much worse since it actually had to do with the plot and was not a face. You know what all the other characters look like and you know what two-face normally looks like.
Also: If you don’t want to risk spoilers then why are you coming to a blog where it is clearly only about film news?
