Dont you lot whinge and wine a lot, one guy even said the CGI was only as good as his games. What games machine is he using, something imported from the future obviously. This film is a lot more enjoyable than all the other Hulk versions, more true to the comic character. Why they alter the actual origins of the hulk baffles me, maybe its because most people remember the TV Hulk origin rather than the original Gamma bomb story line. I would enjoy these Marvel films a lot more if the writers didnt keep messing with the characters. They really messed up the Silver Surfer who doesnt get his power from his board and daredevil but Spiderman and the Fantastic Four stay true. Still enjoy all the Marvel stuff though been a fan for over 30 years. When will they bring some Neil Gaimen graphic novels to the screen, Season of Mist would make an awesome movie with the latest CGI abilitys or maybe the guy crying over the CGI quality of the Hulk would lend the studio his console/PC

M. Thornton and others would like us all to put on kid gloves and not be the least bit critical of the trash Marvel is trying to pass off on us again. I AM a life long HULK uber fan 35+ years of collecting. I have been with the character, comics, marvel etc. through the highs and the lows- that does not make them immune from scrutiny. In fact they have a lot to prove and as far as I can see, study and access from the multitudes of trailer clips out there presently-- there is little to nothing that cheers me up about the prospects for this re-start rehashing. I swear if hollywood would pay attention to the good creative sweat and energy that went into the original storylines and plots -they could craft something that WE ALL care about - comic books especially those with 40 and 50,60+ year histories have master the storytelling art (hell they mimic film making as it is and in many instances have improved upon or deepened the form) they NEED NO reinvention- just dedicated creative directors, writers and producers that want to piggyback on already well crafted story arcs and concepts. Why alter the look of the Abomination? why foist the TV hulk taste down our collective throats with Lou doing the hulk voice! Why not do what the wandering hulk stories of THE GREEN guy just wanting to be left alone and stumbles in to accidental trouble AND DO-gooding poinent moments-- there are plenty of ways this type of morality play could be used to highlight current issues, attitudes or open ended moral ambiguities that dont pander to the military guns and explosions version of the hulk -- AND of course they still have to hide all the CGI action in darkness and nightscenes because they dont want us to scrutinize all the rough edges. Its just to hard...huh... booo hooo!

I will keep criticizing until they get it right.
HULK OUT

this really Tee's me off to hear a bunch of uneducated moron's talking about something they have no idea about first off i think that this is going to be one of the biggest movies of the year see the whole point of a comic movie is to translate characters from book to screen as best you can while holding the essence of the character while the first hulk movie was something they found in the trash me being a true comic book fan since the age of 7 now 32 the hulk being my favorite character because of his never having to conform it's his way all the time or get your( -ss kicked) this one looks more like the adaption will be much better showing more of his true qualities where the first just showed his transformation that being the only adaption that came from the comic nice try but it sucked! so if you don't know the history of the hulk don't knock the movie because you don't understand and you expect it to be the best movie ever made blame the writer I never hear people say that wolverine is a nice guy well he ain't but watching the x-men trilogy that's what you would think now those were some horrible movies as far as the story lines go and the portrayal of the charcters attitudes the f-x were moderate lets hope with this hulk movie they do better D.O.C. BANNA aka H.P

http://movies.yahoo.com/summer-movies/Incredible-Hulk/1808495230/trailers/106/902

What it comes down to is this:

HULK or HAPPENING?

DEFINITELY HULK. I'll take my chances on a hulking out Norton against a constipated-looking Wahlberg ANY damn day!

Give this film a chance for God's sakes...people who are trashing this and ripping it already are probably the same people who complained when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker and declared that Nolan had f-ed up Batman and that The Dark Knight was going to suck and they would never see it and are now jumping on the bandwagon and saying how great that movie will be and how amazing his performance as the Joker will be. I'd be a hypocrite if I said I wasn't one of those people, but give this movie a chance. Marvel reacquired the rights to the Hulk so they could make the movie the way it should've been made the first time. Ang Lee is a great director, but was the wrong choice for that movie. Everyone still went to see Batman Begins even after the bomb that was Batman & Robin. This film is a reboot, even though it's only been five years, and they have a decent cast and Edward Norton is a great writer and I'm sure the movie will be entertaining if nothing else...Stop crapping on it without even seeing it.

I'm not going to compare this movie to The Dark Knight because they are two very different heroes and Chris Nolan's take makes Batman and his world much more realistic than in past films. It's IMPOSSIBLE to ground the Hulk in much reality. With that said, I am really looking forward to this movie. I love superhero movies and thought this trailer was great, and I admit I was one of the few who liked the first trailer. I don't care about the CGI too much since it is hard to make a nine foot green monster look real. I just hope the story is strong and solid so that Marvel can establish the Hulk franchise finally and continue to make future films with the Hulk, and hopefully the Avengers with Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. I'm sure that as the technology advances over the next few years with computer animation, the look of the Hulk will improve as well. For now, I'm just hoping for a solid, Hulk story for this movie.

After looking at the new trailer I am certain they have screwed up again!!!!!

The live action and cgi DOES NOT MESH AT ALL!!!!!!

The Abomination is an abomination!!!!

The threat to the Hulk or should I say the scale of the conflict is wimpy in subject matter a la “Banner being the property of the US military” I am pretty certain the casting of the great Roth will be wasted in his characters actions. The HULK again looks like hell!!! If WETA can make an awesome incredible Cave Troll for Lord of the Rings why can't others learn or take a hint or stand on the shoulders of past achievements and shoot for the moon!!!

He needs a more fantastical adventure and or to team up with someone--- hell have him battle Subby or Wolverine. Have him really misunderstood like he use to be--when he would hulk out and do damage all the while doing some supremely innocently GOOD thing(s). The old hulk that, when the hulk, just want to be left alone, Have him rage out against the aforementioned sometime heroes, to the degree that he and they are doing lots of incidental damage to the world that then means the military attempts to stop him (them) of course unsuccessfully and then in the end it is hulk/banner mythos of the noble child-like innocent that proves to be the resolution and the ‘moral’ of the story.

I don’t see this going anywhere good and it can only have a lame Hollywood ending at best!!! It is all so predictable Big chase, climax… yah know -- fade to black.. the end. LAME>> Yuck!!!!

Boo Hoo why why why do they aim so low.

Sadly,

It's CG and a movie? What Year 3000 bullshit is this?!?!?!

My life is now fulfilled knowing that HeyNow helped me understand that these creatures don't actually exist.

I don't know where you think people talking about how bad the special effects look somehow mean that people mean to stop it from being shown in theatres? But to each his own, I'll check it out when they re-run it to death on HBO later this year.

Actually for as simplistic as the story was in Transformers, the CG in that movie was highly excellent. And it was really the only thing I was expecting and wanted. And it delivered.

They looked like they were "in" the film. You can't tell me that backyard scene looked shitty because it was awesome. Everything from the way they were lit, textured and even the environement they affected. The downtown fight scene between Optimus and Megatron was brilliantly done in CG. The thing is many studios real challenge is doing "organic" characters in full CG. The couple of characters that come to mind is Davey Jones from Pirates 2 and Weta's Kong, which is by far the best fully CG organic creature I have ever seen in film.

Everything from Kong's evolution of scar tissue to body hair getting matted when he goes through certain environments to his ultra-realistic eye behavior and movement. ILM also hit it out of the park with their CG work with Davey Jones.

Sorry man, but the CG in Transformers trumps the crap you see in these Hulk trailers.

Ok, everyone is complaining about the CGI, look people, it is the Hulk, a 7-10 foot monster. I think first of all it is kind of hard to make that anymore realistic in what they have him doing. Second, Iron Man looks great, well because alot of there shots are a man in suit (sure there are CGI shots but, Iron Man is really brightly colored so yeah doing the background brightly colored also will make him look better), Batman also looks great but that is also a man in a suit. People, the story line looks great, Norton is a really superior actor compared to Bana. I mean, what more do you all want? First movie he was to green, he didnt look real enough, story sucks, not enough Hulk SMASH. They did exactly what the public wanted in this one. Not to green (while also trying to make others happy with segments where he is grey), more Hulk SMASH, better storyline (while also bringing in some of the original TV show and comics parts), and way better acting. Stop complaining so much everyone, if you dont want to see it great, dont go, no one is holding a gun to your heads, the question was do you think it will do as good as the other Hulk or at the box office, of course it will, Norton is acting in it so that by itself will be better numbers.

Look, Transformers did awesome, and I will tell you now, CGI on that one wasnt great, wait, wasnt that like 20 foot tall robots walking around and destroying stuff, hmmmm, something like a giant green monster walking around and destroying stuff, right? It will be alright lol. Just go see it and see and if you dont want to, wait for DVD and see it. Anyhow it will still do better with the numbers, buy renting or buying the DVD you will still add to the numbers. If its that bad dont see it on DVD neither lol..... Anthony

Yeah the Hulk looks fake but Abomination looks more realistic, and you gotta give props to tim roth's character for throwing down his gun and standing up to the hulk even though he was kicked onto his ass (literally) but i'll still see it to make an informed decision, but my must must MUST see is still The Dark Knight.
Here's my list
1) The Dark Knight
2) Hellboy 2
3) The Incredible Hulk.

Again, the Hulk himself (and his enemy) look terrible. It's the nipples on the batsuit all over again.

looks pretty good!!! got more excited watching this trailer than the previous one. FIGHT THE IMPULSE TO COMPARE ALL MOVIES AGAINST EACH OTHER!!! you don't have to choose just Iron Man or just Dark Knight. don't compare. you sound like Vern in Stand By Me talking about Superman beating up Mighty Mouse...."It'd be a good fight though!" LOL

SILENCE FANBOYS!!!

the trailer has spoken. and the decision is that this movie looks about a billion times better than the last "attempt." the graphics look crisper, even if they don't look as real as iron man (then again, its two 10ft monsters, so that can be forgiven,) and the story seems much truer to both the comics and t.v. series, which was critically genius.

plus, ive mentioned the graphics, but the HULK: i mean seriously? that looks incredible compared to lee's "grumpy mr kitty cat" look. this one actually looks angry. (walrus, if you suggest the other hulk looked like eric bana, you seriously need an eye test my friend.)

really guys, i think, even though it might not make as much as the other two, it will still be as good as both iron man and the dark knight. even if it is a box office failure, i think the characters and the story points alone may be enough to make an avengers movie.

keep smiling!!

I'm sorry, but that looks awesome. It's a dumb, CGI-filled summer blockbuster, which is just what I want out of the Hulk (and what I didn't get out of you-won't-like-me-when-I'm-Ang-Lee's rubbish attempt.

As long as the story is good. And I agree with USvsIreland, 10 ft tall green monsters aren't an everyday encounter.
