Of course we need a new Gremlins flick, are you kidding me? But it totally has to be with the puppets, much like in this commercial. I also feel it has to have a dark tone like the original, not a goofy one like the sequel. But with theaters being bombarded with sequels and remakes, I feel if the Gremlins were to come back, now would be the perfect time.

It could be cool if it was done right, a good script, a god director, a return from the original characters, and puppets, NO CGI, like most ovies do.

man, it's fucking AWESOME to see creatures that aren't CGI. that brought me right back...the New Batch was one of the greats.

I'd love to see a Gremlins 3, but only if it were to have minimal amounts of CGI. A lot of the charm comes from the puppetry.

If they made a 3rd movie that was like the first, just plain gremlins, no cgi, and dark, it could be great! Set it somewhere big like New York and pretend like the 2nd movie never existed.

perfect timing for a sequel and old sly has proven it can be done succesfully. after seeing the bt advert it gave me a glimmer of hope! direct to dvd bad idea and i hope they dont go the gremlins 2 way although i liked it, it was as if they were trying to debunk the film way too much

I'm not sure they could really do a return to the style of the first movie. I mean, 2 took a lot of the Gremlins world and made jokes of it. I don't think you could easily undo all that and go back to a purely dark film. I suppose you could, but Gremlins 2 would always be in the back of your mind. "Aren't the same guys who had a musical number?"

Then again, maybe someone could pull off a purely dark movie and could be fun. I for one liked a lot of the comedy in the 2nd movie, though I wouldn't want a 3rd movie to be a clone of the 2nd one. Maybe a combination of the two, dark but with some humor thrown in here and there. I guess thats kinda how the 1st movie was actually. :P

Either way I'll watch it. I'm eagerly awaiting Gremlins 3: An Even Newer Batch.

Pls do the film! Dont let gizmo die in the celluloide grave like other great American movies Like Christine and critters and others. Ps if u have to use cg go ahead try using both cg and animatronics both work great together anyhow.We cant just depend on profit we have to just do movies for the enjoyment of it
