The ‘Twilighters’ are also complaining, “Oh, have you actually read the books?” Yes, it’s understandable that you need to actually read a book before criticising it. But don’t think just because somebody is “bashing” something that the person hasn’t read whatever it is being “bashed.” You’d have to be pretty stupid to do that.

And yeah, I was forced to read Twilight by my friend and I didn’t want to read it. As I kept going on, I found some areas to be funny and I know it’s supposed to be a teenager’s point of view, etc. but the writing was poor–as in it lacked more meaning. But that’s just me. The plotline is not corny; it’s just very cliche. Bella makes me want to smack her. Edward I like (vampires are cool!), but I am disappointed with whom he’s going to be played by in the movie. Robert Pattinson should belong only in one series: Harry Potter.

With every book comes the ones who like it and detest it. With Harry Potter–I’m a huge fan of the series (obsessed practically) and I have had to endure people say the series is crap. They even compared it to High School Musical saying it was “a school with kids who have stupid teenage problems, but only without the music.” I just stopped caring what they said because I liked and enjoyed the book. Their opinion is not going to ruin it for me. I’m actually glad they express it because that means nobody has the same taste. Thank goodness for that.

With this said, I can rest in peace.

p.s. And what is up with the TwilightMoms? I don’t understand what that means.

Not only that, but the book does seem really cliched from what I’ve heard. I mean, really, new girl falls in” love” with hot boy after knowing him for like, a few hours? Then she discovers that hes a vampire - Really original, huh? This is more like poorly written fanfiction.

The character development is poor and cliches make up the story. Truthfully, it was waste of my ten dollars. I gave it away some girl i don’t even know.

I am not a fan of Harry Potter either. However, Twilight, does not deserve more praise.

And, Stephenie Meyer, obviously doesn’t know how teen relationships work. Cause it’s far from whats going in her book.

Twilight fandom has totally rocked this article, if you read, there’s probably about a 90 to 20 ratio on the Twilight “lovers” and the Twilight “haters”

Twilight will totally pwn, whoever they cast for the characters is amazing and couldn’t be more precise. Nothing is perfect :P

Stop dissing honestly i cant put the book down like so many other hundreds of thousands of people out there. i have never seen so many people fall in love with this book and of course Edward (so dreamy) anyway read it and let your imagination go wild.

ok so yer its about teen vampires but come on who doesnt love a good fantasy now and again.

and i think it will save speed racer since that movie looks stupid.
only because it was a cartoon before. and hollywood, I think, is over doing it since they cant think of anything else to make.

either that make a cartoon into a real life movie or they use asian movies for example: One Missed Call (which sucked)

If it is really as bad as you make it out to be, then it wouldn’t be a #1 Best Seller, now would it? I really do recommend reading it; you’ll be hooked straight away.

Twilight is the ONLY book I’ve ever been really addicted to. I’ve read all three books more than once.
So you haters shouldn’t say a thing unless you’ve read twilight; and if you have and STILL hate it, then there must be something wrong with you.

I was planning to watch the Speed Racer movie, despite my lack of interest in it, so I could catch a glimpse of the Twilight Movie. (AKA the trailer)
I’m still deciding.
I’ve already seen the twilight teaser; but I’m sure the actual trailer is a tad longer.
Though, there is the possibility that I could see the trailer and leave. But like I said, I’m still deciding.

And I’m sure there are a lot of people thinking the way I am, but are still undecided as well.

Let’s hope the Twilight Trailer actual IS attached to the Speed Racer film; otherwise there’ll be a lot of pissed off Twilighters.

And yes, half of the people that I know, that went, have never heard of Speed Racer in their lives, and probably didn’t care about it at all. I actually know that my cousins walked out on the movie right when it started, because there was no trailer.

To those of you that don’t know anything about Twilight, and would like to bash it, go ahead. But that just shows how low you really are. You have the right to your own opinion, but it makes you look like an idiot if you’re going to go and say things of something you know nothing about.

Anyway. Speed Racer, in my opinion, could’ve done good on it’s own, if there was never the Twilight Trailer prospect of it. But since there was, I’m pretty sure that def. boosted it.
