    Thats pretty cool, its nice to see Nolan paying tribute to Tim Burton's Batman. The Dark Knight is going to be the best movie of the summer can't wait.

    Wow! That is amazing. My mind is completely blown. I'm speechless for a response. The new trailer didn't even feel forced.

    The Burton Batman trailer is not real, someone just edited together scenes to make it look like the Dark Knight trailer. Still cool though.

    It had me for a moment, but they were really reaching by the midway point.

    Here's a link to the real '89 trailer, if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkqbgLDgaI
  • V cool!

    Much as I'm looking forward to Dark Knight, it's hard to imagine it being the classic that Burton's Batman has become.
  • It MUST have been edited to fit!!!

    @norman E

    That's what I'm thinking...come on.

    That's not the real trailer. It was edited to match the real one.

    the new tdk trailer us up - dunno for how long - holy dear jesus f-ing christ.... this will be THE BEST comic book film EVER - hands down.
  • Not real. The green MPAA splash screens weren't added to trailers until about a decade later (nor did they have websites for filmratings.com or mpaa.org in '89). All the same, great fan art on the remake.

    It's painful to go back and watch the real trailer and see how bad it was. Great movie, just awful editing for the real trailer.

    Man...Where's the time machine...You could get a lot of butts in seats in 1989 with that re-cut trailer. Not that it didn't kill at the box office anyway, it could just hit even higher heights.
  • That's pretty wicked, even if it was re-cut.

    @ Orange Cinema

    Yeah but it wasn't just any bullet from any gun!
  • Floppy
    That was actually pretty cool.
