Today I received a package from Gotham City. What could be inside? And who knew that the Joker used FedEx? Watch the video below to find out.
Yes, The Dark Knight Viral Campaign has entered our world again. If you go to the “It’s All Part Of The Plan” website that we told you about last week, you will find that you are now able to click on the portraits on the wall. Each painting has a time and location where you and “300 of your closest friends” should gather.
“You’ll need to be in contact with a partner-in-crime who has online access to relay your instructions once you’re there. These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn’t want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we? Put on a smile and plan to spend about an hour or so bonding with your fellow clowns. Check back here often for updates or changes.”
Everyone is pretty sure that this latest scavenger hunt will lead to a screening of the new trailer. Notice TRAIL and ER are capitalized in the message above. So if you want to be part of the fun, find the location in your nearest city on the website, and be there tonight.

My only worry with this whole clown thing, is the movie inadvertently supporting ICP fans.

Good luck tonight, can’t make it to Philly tonight for it :-(
Wish Baltimore was on the map more.

Good call on the ICP thing.
When ya think about it, The Joker pretty much had the first insane clown posse.

Antibodies,
I agree with your fear. Luckily the IQ found in these videos and packages shows they’re far beyong a juggalo’s capacity. Maybe if he was drinking a 40 and slapping around his girlfriend?
April 28th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
All it takes is for one person in the group to be wearing an ICP shirt and the reality of the event is distorted.
And Juggalos don’t drink 40’s, they drink Faygo.
April 28th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
Nice Juno T-Shirt Peter.
April 28th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
Why do most of your videos sound like there are crystals floating around in the air?
April 28th, 2008 at 3:14 pm
I want you inside me peter.
April 28th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
Dunno..I guess it’s fun to hang with other people who are dressed up as comic book characters, and then engage in a “treasure hunt”, which leads to a TRAILER?
Hey man, SOMEONE had to say it.

I went out to this last night in hopes that it would be a full screener of the film as I’ve seen screeners 2 months in advance of release in the past. We showed up at 5:30 where we had to wait around in a parking lot. It started to pour buckets and everyone out there got completely soaked. We then had to get in touch with a friend at home to relay us clues that were displayed on the site - but in reality they were just clues to walk to the movie theater 5 blocks down the street. Could have just showed up there without getting soaking wet.
After waiting an hour inside the theater they let us inside, showed a bunk 2 minute trailer that didn’t show me anything I haven’t seen before and raffled off a film reel of the trailer. Two “Joker henchman” gave the winner the film reel and told her to “figure out a way to get it out there”. I could have stayed home, not caught pneumonia and waited for this to show up on the Internet today. Can’t believe I fell for that. Worst viral marketing stunt ever.
