I’m glad “everyone didn’t just jump on the hate wagon for the lyrics, song and video. I THINK THE VIDEO (MUSIC AND LYRICS) ROCKED!!! AND IN SEEING THE SPONGE VIDEO? OHH I’M TRULY GLAD THEY DIDN’T USE THAT LACK OF SKILL…and it sounds like the guy is drab and whining the whole time, geez.

The transitions they used for the video were kind of lame and cheesy, but I think the FX are pretty cool, and I personally find the song to be rather catchy. Most of the English lyrics are from the original theme song, and I’m not really sure where you’re getting the whole “I tear up every party Iâ€™m atâ€ either… Anyway, it looks like it might be worth seeing in theaters. /shrug

Where in the song are the lyricas “I tear up every party that I’m at”?
Because as far as I can tell (I’m only able to understand the English lyrics), the song is only about racing. It’s nice that you don’t like the song, but you really shouldn’t go pulling stuff out of your ass.

I’m into heavy metal and extremely dislike hip hop (or whatever the hell else you would classify that Speed Racer song), so if I had to vomit every time I heard a bad movie theme song, I’d be bulimic. I tried watching the whole video here, but just couldn’t do it. I had to just skip through it to get an idea of what it sounded like. It’s probably not the worst thing I’ve ever heard, but still, no thanks. I’m with Captain Awesome, Slayer would have been the better choice to do the theme song.

I heard the song and for some reason I couldn’t stop punching myself in the face. I couldn’t figure out why and then I realized that getting hit in the face felt better and was taking my mind off of what was happening to my eyes and ears. I felt like I was being punished for being alive and conscious while this video was playing. My body will recover but my mind will never be the same. I think Im deaf in one ear and can only hear R. Kelly’s Trapped in The Closet in the other. Damn you Speed Racer theme song!!!!!
