Blade Runner Posters

In past editions of Cool Stuff, I’ve talked at length about why The Alamo Drafthouse is the best movie theater in the world, and raved at the poster art that Tyler Stout has created for past Alamo events. The Alamo Ritz is just about to conclude their Spring Big Screen Sci-fi Classics series. In the last couple weeks we’ve featured the commissioned posters for the screenings: King Kong, 2001, The Thing, and Planet of the Apes. Most of the posters in the series sold out in record time, and Tyler Stout’s beautiful rendering of Blade Runner should be no different. I have no incentive to sell this poster to you, so listen carefully to my warning: If you want this thing, it’s best to buy now, because it probably won’t be available much later.

The regular edition is a silkscreen 24×36 print with 5 colors and metallic inks. Limited print of 200 for sale on Mondotees from $30.00. This poster will be going right on my office wall.

The variant edition is printed on Creme paper and features glow in the dark metallic red and metallic blue ink. Limited print of 75 for sale on Mondotess for $50.00.

Oh hell yea! Just bought the red one… Green is not really my color, but red definitely is (need I mention FirstShowing.net?). Really digging this design and I’ll be glad to have it up in my office too!

I’d like to see Mr. Stout tackle something a bit more challenging. Like “Corky Romano” or “She’s All That”. Then I’d be impressed. ;)

What’s the deal with raising the price after there’s like 10 left? Not cool =(
