New Hancock Movie Trailer from American Idol

Columbia Pictures premiered an exclusive new Hancock movie trailer on Wednesday night’s American Idol. The new Peter Berg film stars Will Smith as superhero who has fallen on hard times and has fallen out of favor with the public. He enters into a questionable relationship with the wife (Charlize Theron) of the public relations professional (Jason Bateman) who’s trying to repair his image. The trailers and marketing up until this point almost gave off a parody vibe. This new trailer shows a different story featuring a lot more action and drama. I’m actually now officially looking forward to this movie. What do you think? Comment below!

    Normally, I'd see a Will Smith movie because I know it'll be entertaining one way or the other. Now, I'm looking forward to it.

    To say any Peter Berg film looks "awesome" is like getting pumped for a Uwe Boll movie. The trailer looks good, but Peter Berg's name attached to a project brings enhanced scrutiny.

    Also, lets talk about Nic Cage's new career turn. Bad movies with bad hair is really in for him right now. Discuss.

    wow! That is the complete opposite of what I've been expecting. I was thinking it was going to be a parody film too. I'll definitely see this movie now. I like the concept of a fallen from grace superhero

    So the movie will be 40-45 minutes of comedy and parody and then it will turn into a big action extravaganza movie. This is so cool. I didn't know the movie was gonna have galactus in it. Yes guys the storm is in the movie. Also who is he fighting with?

    What the hell happened to nic cage? He used to be good. No he rocks a slicked back weird ass haircut, and stars in stupid ass movies. Such a waste of an awesome talent.

    The King of Summer Blockbusters has returned! I mean, yeah the guy did Wild Wild West, and even though it sucked, it made some good money. Call me crazy but...I'm looking more forward to this than Indy 4...but not Dark Knight though.

    How could anyone not feel pumped after seeing that trailer. The guy can do anything and he just fucks with people in the neighborhood, in jail, everywhere. This will be better than Superman Returns & Ghost Rider, since Nic Cage was brought up. His hair in "Next," which yes I actually saw, was horrific.

    HOLY CRAP!!!!!
    The first trailer was meh but this new trailer is AWESOME, LOL I scared my cat by saying woah really really loud when Hancock deflected the rocket with ease into a car. Im really looking forward to this film because up till this point super hero movies have been clean and straight forward blah crime fighting Hancock flying with a bottle priceless and draging the car through the city was way cool to see it. THis movie is going to be awesome!!!!

    When I first saw the trailer, I thought, well I guess it could be
    funny. Now I'm really excited. I like the fallen from grace attitude,
    the action looks way cool, and also looking forward to the drama,
    plus can't forget about Ms. Theron! Can't wait!

    Some damn good action. What I like in the first trailer was he trying to grab that girl's ass. Would Superman or Batman try to pull off something like that? Handcock is a superhero for the new generation.

    It seems like it is going to be a good movie...
    But will never know since Will Smith's last movie "I am Legend",which was mainly great until its bad ending.
    But we still should expect something good from this one, I personaly believe it will be an oscar winning movie

    peter shure is without an h but anyway, i think he starts to turn mortal or something and his powers are super -strength, super-flight, he can shoot fire an stuff but he starts to turn mortal and thats the basic plot
