Earlier this month LatinoReview reported that Brendan Fraser had filmed a cameo appearance for Stephen Sommer’s G.I. Joe. Newsarama confirmed this story during their New York Comic Con Coverage. Fraser claims that he gets to ride a “bitching three wheeled motorcycle” in the film. His character, Gung Ho, a Village People-looking soldier from the toyline, is rumored to appear during a training sequence in The Pit. Thank god it’s only a cameo. Just when I thought that G.I. Joe might be a good, action flick with a more serious tone they throw frickin’ Brendan Fraser in it. Now I have no choice but to avoid this flick like the plague. Can someone please freeze this guy back up and bury him in Encino?

This could be the worst news thus far about this project. I hope he isn’t in the film long if at all, he is a horrid one genre actor like Keanu Reeves. Bad taste left in my mouth after this news.
