24 Season 7

Filmz.ru got their hands on the first promotional image for The seventh season of 24. I assume this image was taken to publicize the season’s premiere, which was originally scheduled to take place on January 13th, 2008, but was postponed reportedly due to the writer’s strike. The new season is now set to premiere with a two hour prequel in fall before the regular season in January 2009. With CTU disbanded after the events of season 6, and with Jack Bauer on trial for his actions in the pursuit of justice, a major national security incident occurs when the firewall responsible for protecting America’s government computer infrastructure is breached. Click on the photo to enlarge.

The photo above features from left to right: FBI Agents Sean Hillinger (Rhys Coiro), Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo), Larry Moss (Jeffrey Nordling), and Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) who is also in an “adversarial relationship with Jack Bauer”, SPOILER WARNING, Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard), who was supposedly killed in a previous season, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), Bill Buchanan (James Morrison), Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), First Gentleman Henry Taylor (Colm Feore), the show’s first female president Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones), and Chief of Staff Ethan Kanin (Bob Gunton).

I wasn’t a big fan of the last season of 24 as the show almost became a parody of itself. I’ll give the two hour premiere a chance, but if the commercial which aired late last year is any indication, I’m not sure I’ll continue on after that.

‘Taken’, you mean ‘Photoshopped’. It’s actually a pretty poor ’shop for being an ‘official’ image.

Yaaaaay Tony is back!!! Almeda to the rescue….Its the Jack and Tony shooow!!

  3. Gravatar

Wasn’t Tony killed in season 5? I could be wrong though.

Lee: I’m pretty sure Tony is a bad guy in the season…

Peter: I never saw the trailer for season 7 but now that i have just minutes ago, I am sad because i really liked the Tony and Jack tandem in I think season 4. I will say that i am glad they are done with CTU and out of LA. Man that was a needed thing in my mind. But the trailer looked great.

Why are they still making this….DAMMIT!

It “almost became a parody of itself”? In the SIXTH season?!? Come on — This show has been one of the most hilarious sitcoms on TV (unintentionally) since it premiered. The only reason to watch it is to see how preposterous the situations will become, and how retarded the characters will act.

    “Dammit!”

    Whisper-shouted: “I need a nearly-complete character change-up NOW!”

    Jaenene Garofalo?

    in 24?

this single picture has completely deflated my expectations for this upcoming season. This could go down as one of the worst casting decisions EVAR. fuckin 24, and the fact that they cast that idiot from Dirt too is just as horrible.

the only thing that could make up for this is if they’re both killed in the 1st episode.

i’m a huge fan of the show. i started watching it during season 3 and watched all the rest of the season up to now. wasn’t a huge fan of season 5 because of the whole weakass president logan drama, then season 6 was worst. i would rather sit through my daughters violin resital then endure season 6. so i finally seen the previews of season 7…not bad. couple of questions: jeanene gerafalo? enough said on that one, personally i LOVE chloe o’brian in that role but on a grander scale why do they keep bringing her back? i like that she condensending, sarcastic, a little aloof, but why do they like her so much? tony going bad? not bad, but i think that at the end he’ll end up doin the “right thing” because of his relationship w/jack. being shot, blown up, and killed, and not to mention that he lost michelle desler would drive any man that mad. so he has a right to be bad…sort of. i think when the dust settles & at the end of the 24 season 7 we’re goin to get a “ok” product. now about jack bauer…how many times can we do what he does? i’ve been catching up on past seasons and to be honest he’s superman w/o the cape, he’s an american badass, he’s the man’s man. entertainment wise he’s money in the bank and kiefer sutherland plays to the hilt. really can’t see anybody else playing jack. so how many times can we stand watching jack get out of this & that. he’s the 2008 “McGuyver” (remember that show?). well there’s my rant & rave on 24. my favorite season: season 4

I am happy that season 7 is on the way. I actually thought that it ended at season 6.
