Disney has released a new WALL-E vignette and this time our favorite little robot encounters a magnet. How cute is that little guy?
WALL-E hits theaters on June 27th 2008.

Better than Ratatouille by far

Yeah because you already saw the film so you can definitely make that judgement.
I can’t wait for it either way.

I beginning to think Peter is gay for Wall-E…. just to let you know… he’s taken. By me. I am in love with a robot

[to Peter Sciretta] every time something related to wall-e comes out you have to totally talk about how amazing or cool he is. I’m not like trying to make fun of you, or insult your tastes. i just keep thinking how funny it would be if you sat in the movie theatre, all dressed and decorated with wall-e merchandise, maybe bought a second seat for a pile of wall-e stuff, and then the movie ultimately being disappointing to you. Ha ha ha! as unlikely as that will be.

Excellent sound design too.

I dig the animation, but I’m not diggin’ the character. I’ll wait until the movie

How old are you people? This movie would have looked amazing if I were 9 years old. But I’m not, so it doesn’t.
Don’t feel too bad, I think there may be something wrong with me. I seem to have become immune to “cute” cgi animals and robots and people in commercials/movies. There’s just so damn many of them, and people always go crazy for them. I don’t give a fuck about a cute little squirrel with huge eyes and a toddlers voice trying to sell me insurance. Apparently most of the population can’t get enough of that crap though. That is exactly what Wall-E is.

i wonder if the movie will be silent (with the exception of the word wall-e). i hope that is not the case.

@ Jackson
Not so much crap, but I’d agree on the “fair share” aspect of things. Talking cars, bugs, monsters, fish, rats, etc.
The story will set it off. Can’t get mad at what the people dig.

leviaru: The film has no dialog. They did it right though, very right. It’s quite amazing actually.
Jackson: you obviously don’t know anything about Pixar.

@ peter
dunno if you get the starz channel, but that pixar documentary is on this month (just watched it - great) and right after it they have a sneak peak at wall-e. not really any new footage, but i saw a second wall-e model robot that i haven’t seen before.

Orange, I just got done watching that documentary as well. I love Pixar. I hope to god that Disney doesn’t ruin the magic….
