You must check out this sweded version of Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back. Rob Kenyon. Mark Breeze, Paul Nadin, Jamie Broadrick, and Leonora Whitehouse filmed this 60-second short film over the course of two days using a lot of cardboard and gaffers tape. Everything was created from scratch, from the costumes to the puppets, from the Ships to the droids.

these really are not that funny at all.

I think a lot of these sweded videos are overrated. But this one was awesome. Handcrafted with a lot of fun.

I’d love to see someone try and swede Ridley Scott’s “Legend.” That’d be a heck of an undertaking.

I’ve now added this to my list!

That’s one of the best swedes I’ve seen since this whole crazy thing started. Very well done.

While that was pretty sweet, it made me feel like I had ADD. Not to be confused with AD&D. I would have liked a 120 second version better, where they let some of those shots hold longer than a frame.

In tonights performance, the part of Boba Fett will be played by Borat.
April 16th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
Great! Voice of Boba by Borat and it appeared that Lando was also played by Borat.

Awesome. Captures the essence of the (best Star Wars) movie completely.
Special mention must go to the Yoda noises. Hmmm?
If only George Lucas could make them this good these days…

You call this sweded? You would be totally confused if you hadn’t seen the movie before. Real sweded movies at least make sense.
April 18th, 2008 at 1:29 am
Yeah really very very good job.
you make it to tell the whole story of the original film

Hey cheers for the comments, the film isn’ t actually ’sweded’ It was for the empire magazine ‘in 60 seconds’ where you just had to remake your favorite film in 60 seconds. Also for it to be sweded all the effects had to be done in camera, some of ours (sabers) were done in post. ill have a 3-4 min version up soon, so look out for it.
Also, Lando was white becasue only a few friends truned up and I had to use them in several roles :)
Again thanks for the comments

Nerdcore for life! The puppet design was consistent. I want a full length movie.
