Disney has released a new WALL-E featurette on the STARZ movie channel to help promote the channel’s big Pixar premiere on April 22nd. Cars will air at 6pm, followed by Ratatouille at 8pm, followed by the premiere of Leslie Iwerks’ documentary The Pizar Story, followed by a Starz feature The Pixar Story Continues which includes scenes from Ratatouille and WALL-E. Writer/director Andrew Stanton hosts this four-minute WALL-E featurette, which features a bunch of never-before-seen footage. We get to see what has become of Earth, what has become of the other WALL-E units, and a lot of new interaction between WALL-E and EVE.

There is nothing I don’t like about that little robot. I am really excited about this one, and it is not often I get excited over a childrens film.

i’m always so insanely jealous of the pixar guys, because they’re well into their 40’s and look/act/speak like excited big kids at play. to be apart of pixar’s team is definately one of the best jobs to have on the planet.

On Monday veteran animator Ollie Johnston passed away at the age of 95.
He was the last of the great “Nine Old Men” of Disney animation - the guys who more or less invented the feature animation medium. They were the first ones to make us all believe…that a puppet could be a real boy…that an elephant could fly…that one day that prince would come. I played this in my dorm room for a bunch of my guy friends, and all you could hear out in the hallway was a whole bunch of laughing “aaaw”’s. I am so excited for this film! As much as I liked Finding Nemo, this is going to put that to shame! Finally. A space/robot movie for kids, that even I am going to look forward to.

I rarely pay much attention to the previews for kids movies but this just looks fun as hell. I actually hadn’t given it any consideration at all until I saw that featurette. Now I’m going to see it for sure.

I think I decide to stop watching more trailers or featurette of this film because that will screw my experience of enjoying it in the movie theaters. Yes, it looks good, I love everything that is coming from Pixar. I trust on their geniality. (I don’t see it like a film for children, it’s justa an animated feature for everyone who loves animation -kids or adults. By the way, the 3 or 4 first comments sounded like done by the marketing department of Disney, trying to trigger us…hahahaha just my perception. Enjoy the summer movies :-)
