HALO! The mysterious story in the original HALO game (and to a lesser extent, the sequels) is what made the game so incredibly addicting.

Bungie presented an original story that was both thought provoking and horrific in a James Cameron/Aliens sort of way. The film would, however, need to focus upon the relationship of MasterChief and his AI console.

The Fall of Reach would be a great starting point -- or it could serve as either a starting point for a prequel series to a successful trilogy of HALO films that are more accurately based upon the games. It could also be alluded to through flashbacks in the first HALO film.

HALO has a story that NEEDS to be seen on the big screen. Unfortunately, the budget would need to achieve blockbuster status in order to display a proper adaptation (especially for the FX of the Flood and Covenant creatures). I'm not sold on Del Toro as yet having that sort of clout in Hollywood. Don't get me wrong, I am a big Del Toro fan. Yet I am not certain that he would be completely trusted with a $180M budget (even if a studio is convinced that the film would potentially rake in $350).

Whoever they get to make the film -- they need to get it just right. We don't want another campy CGI film based upon a video game. Remember DOOM?

If he doesn't get off his ass and make "At the Mountains of Madness", like he's been promising for the past ten years, I'm gonna lose about 50 sanity points.

I hate devianretard kids, if you don't want people using your art then don't put it up all over the Internet. If you want people to use your art but would still like credit for it then learn to watermark!

I have to go with Halo... of course the Flood could end up being too creepy for the general public. Nasty parasitic organisms have not done well since Aliens. As for Bioshock, a prequel might make a better movie. Hopefully, that is what the next game will be.

As far as which film I would rather see Del Toro make I think it would have to be Bioshock since I think he'd do amazing things with it.

Now if it was just a matter of which of the three movies I would rather see made period it would be HALO if it was a "fall of reach" movie.

Move on to a different movie..a better movie...if he did Halo, Bioshock and The Hobbit he'd be amazing. instead he thinks about new shit for another Hellobuy movie that no one cares about.
