Sorry Rob, but I disagree. No one will want to see more politicing on the big screen when we're drowning in political war fare in real life. This is bad timing for this film. Our nation is pretty fed up with it's current President and dying economy and now we're enduring the electorial process to elect a new President which is already taking it's toll on Americans. I can't see people flocking to the theatre and paying for more political nonsense.

Great casting of principals with some nice surprise background actors. I think it will be well recieved in this election year as a great escape from the realities of this year.

Kevin Costner is a one mode actor. No emotional range to the man. Politics is upsetting in general with the debates going on between real presidental candidates. It's in the newspapers, TV and spread across the Internet. What I don't want to do is spend money to watch politics in the theater.

I have loved all of his movies and can't wait until 8/1 when this movie comes to our local theater. Barbara Nemec

People are so sick of politics already, they're going to run away from this movie when it's released.

Costner's movies haven't been inspiring for a long time.
He's not a great actor, but he got lucky with a few
earlier films and the fact he used to be a lady's man.
His fan base (older women) still swoon over him, even
though he's proved himself less then honorable with
his actions over the years. I don't think this movie
will be that fantastic, although there are good actors
in this film. After listening to the nightly debates and
pot shots candidates are taking at each other, a
movie on the same subject doesn't appeal to me.

Bad Company is in my top five worst films ever, right behind Nic Cage's Ghost Rider and The Wicker Man.

There was this short on atomfilms or ifilm (before they became a viral site) about this guy being chased by two groups. In the end, the group that successfully captured him forced him to cast his swing vote for their party. I seem to think it was in French perhaps.

I'll see if I can find it.

I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. I'm excited to see what this will end up being.

I don't even have to look into my crystal ball to know that will get killed it's first weekend. A waste of that cast as well. Well, Costner and Petty can stay, but let's make a fun movie with the rest of those guys.

Second, Dennis Hopper? Way to Creepy to be President. Love the guy to death, but he gives off the hebbie gebbies.
