So let me get this straight. If someone opposes illegal immigration, that makes them “racist”? What kind of logic is that? Illegal immigration applies to ANY race illegally entering the country. So even if Hunter was alluding to illegals, that simply doesn’t equal “racist.” Cheech! Er, I mean, sheesh!

I think people are making a big deal out of nothing here. It’s just a picture of Cheech…
I can see how you could come to that conclusion, but I doubt he meant it to be racist. That being said I don’t know Hunter, and maybe he really is just a bigot…But I doubt it.

fact that…………..he won’t even own up to it now shows that he knows its wrong and inappropriate. Great……… /film has got a prejudice, weed smoking right winger judging films for it.

This film actually shows promise, if it incorporates some of the brilliant tactics of cloverfield, keeping drama up, reveals to a minimum.

I didn’t feel like using a cliche smoggy L.A. skyline with a UFO on top. Political correctness reigns far too supreme these days. Wow. As for the film, I will toss out this tribute of actual comment on the related to story to thwart the deletion goblin by stating that it is good to see hollywood embracing ideas which will cut the costs on a film without being detrimental to its quality base.

Other than that, i didn’t see any other question posed by you in regards to this “story”.

“Fresh” doesn’t necessarily mean I am a huge fan of the flick. It felt fresh in that it wasn’t overtly flashy in the first hour, focused on a single star in an isolated environment a la Castaway (yes, I know the source material, but we still don’t get many films like this), and wasn’t based on a comic book or sci-fi franchise. The film had more intelligence than a sci-fi blockbuster like The Day After Tomorrow et al.

You might not have liked I Am Legend, but it’s huge box office means more sci-fi is on the way, and that’s okay with me.
