Discuss: Is it just me or does LaBeouf look strange with beard/mustache?

its interesting how Spielberg gets obsessed with an actor. . . and keeps on calling them back. . . I just hope that Shia can take over Tom Cruise’s spot

The Beouf-stache definitely looks odd.
Facial hair on Shia kinda makes him look like a poor man’s Orlando Bloom.
“What, Bloom is unavailable? Get me LeBouf! And tell him to stop shaving for Chrissake! If I wanted a baby face who could act, I’d get twice the talent for half the money out of Joseph Gordon-Levitt.”

If by strange (of Labouf) you mean facial hair of a 16 year old, then yeah. They could have glued a little extra on him to make him not look like a fresh out of junior high boy.
@Cinemaniac1979 that cracked me up. “What, Bloom is unavailable?” so true!

The man is 21 years old, people need to stop thinking of him playing high school parts, and start realizing his potential for serious adult acting.

I agree with Dustin.

I’m officially sick of Shia Ladouche , I demand that he die from an overdose…or better yet a car crash.

No way, Shia LaBeouf with facial hair is quite beauteous.

michelle monaghan needs more work.

The Labeouf is a bamf with or without a beard

yeah, he looks dumb with it. he also doesn’t look like a “young slacker” at all; i thought he was more of a young bourgeois business-type.
i couldn’t be less interested in this movie.

That picture (not necessarily the beard, but the long chin plus the facial “hair”) look to me like Olando Bloom and Eric Balfour (Milo from 24) had a strange child together.
I want to punch Lebouf and I want to kiss Monaghan, and to tell the truth, I’m really not sure which I’d do first, given the option.

I hope he’ll get the M:I - Franchise.
How old was Tom Cruise in M:I 1?
April 10th, 2008 at 1:15 am
Probably Mid-20’s
April 10th, 2008 at 1:18 am
aww lil shia, the transition from teen roles to adult roles can be bumpy i like the scruffy look on him
April 10th, 2008 at 1:24 am
hmm i’m not seeing any bloom in him he looks more like a mini adrien brody and i think cruise was in his 30’s for M:I
April 10th, 2008 at 1:27 am
C’mon. Shia looks extremely hot with the scruffy. Makes him look older. You people just love to hate, don’t you?
April 10th, 2008 at 1:30 am
Kiki is right, Tom was 34, but damn he sure didn’t look it.
April 10th, 2008 at 1:34 am
i love the scruff on shia as long as it is tamed, he has a really expressive face especially in comedic roles
