Get Smart

Warner Bros has released two new images from Get Smart. Basically, Steve Carell stands in the phone booth as Maxwell Smart, a super spy waiting to enter the super secret CONTROL offices. And below we see the super hot Anne Hathaway, looking ever so super hot, as Agent 99 while Carell does something goofy. As always, click to enlarge. This is actually one of the film’s I’m quietly looking forward to seeing this Summer. I grew up watching the original Mel Brooks television series on Nick at Nite, and I think this has the potential to be the next Austin Powers.

Get Smart

The new official plot synopsis follows: Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) is on a mission to thwart the latest plot for world domination by the evil crime syndicate known as KAOS. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency CONTROL is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief (Alan Arkin) has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart, who has always dreamt of working in the field alongside stalwart superstar Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson). Smart is partnered instead with the lovely-but-lethal veteran Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway). Given little field experience and even less time, Smart-armed with nothing but a few spy-tech gadgets and his unbridled enthusiasm-must foil the doomsday plans of KAOS head Siegfried (Terence Stamp).

Steve Carell is not only very funny, but he is oh so handsome! He is the only reason I am going to see this film, and probably more than once.
