All of the bowling ball packages have been picked up at locations around the world, and the Clown Travel Agency now directs us to a directory called “delos” on the Acme Security Systems website (www.acmesecuritysystems.com/delos), where you are asked to enter your e-mail address and phone number for voice authorization, using the code word needle.
Moments later you’ll get a phone call Commissioner Jim Gordon (played by Gary Oldman), who explains it was all a trick to set you up. You can either help the Gotham Police Department, or go to jail for conspiracy to commit a criminal act. /Film Reader Morgan W sent in audio of the phone call.
The Acme Security website begins flashing red with the words “Identity Captured”, with your name, IP, and e-mail address all been logged as evidence.

Unreal. I did not expect to get an actual phone call seconds after typing in the information.
This is going to be the best movie of the summer. Probably of the year. When people talk about viral marketing campaigns in the future, the Dark Knight will be the standard they have to live up to.

Nine Inch Nails used this exact “viral” format last year when promoting “Year Zero.” You were sent to a bunch of different sites, and eventually had to enter your e-mail and phone number. Moments later, your computer gets a warning that you’re now being monitored by the government. Then your phone rings and a recording plays. In fact, it’s run by the same alternate reality/marketing company, 42 Entertainment.

I´m from Costa Rica and i received the call. I’m still in shock, that i actually got the phone call. This viral strategy is really great! This has to be the best superhero marketing and I’m sure the movie will be spectacular

I tried to go to the one in Torrance. I was only 3 miles away, but by the time I got there there were plenty of people. Apparently one guy had been there since 10 in the morning! Some guy had already gotten the bag and was showing off the stuff, but he was really gracious about it. He took our emails and sent us 4 unreleased Dark Knight pictures that are freaking amazing… but I can’t show them to you because I don’t want to get sued! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA… but i’m still sad i didn’t get the ball… sniffle.
