i cannot wait for this, but ive been thinking lately:
-are there alot of people waiting for this?
-does smith stretch past his loyal followers?
-will rogen be the reason it succeeds in mainstream (if it does) or is it smith?
-anybody got any predictions on how much $ it'll do in its theater run?
-am i way off in worrying, is this is gonna be HUGE?

i hope for the absolute best for anything smith does, as i am a faithful askewican. the only movie of his i didnt like was jersey girl - but i'll still see any film he makes. im just curious what ya'll think about the chances of zack/miri.

Despite getting shit for 'Rats and JG, Smith is still one of the most consistantly funny and original comedy directors out there. C'mon, who else is making movies like Dogma or Chasing Amy? Those are two of the most original comedies ever made. Both Clerks are probably two of the most rewatchable comedies as well. Apatow and his crew should be thanking Kevin for paving the way.

Great logo. Plays up the "X" nostalgia but not too much.

This movie almost seems to have a European sensibility, not to sound like a pretentious dick.

@ Pete

Yeah, the title alone puts it out there past other Smith films in terms of mainstream awareness. Should be fun.

I think this will be the film that moves Kevin Smith from low budget cult director to mainstream. It has a great cast, and should be hilarious.
