-to see indiana, ive got no problem waiting in line for a couple hours.

-to see the dark knight, i'd: sell my soul to the devil; dump my girlfriend; disown my family; sell my house; sell my car; steal; vandalize; win a ticket lotery battle royal to the death; sell my kidneys, liver, lungs & heart - & watch the movie from life support; pimp myself out; do anything fear factor could throw my way; sleep with paris hilton & perez hilton WITHOUT a condom during the superbowl halftime show; and take on lifetime of survitude to howard stern's 'eric the midget'...i'm kinda looking forward to this film.

go heath, go nolan, go bale, go oldman, go caine, go freeman, go TDK cast & crew! this movie will set a new bar for comic book adaptations.

I'm not surprised that Indy 4 outranked Batman. What I am surprised about however, is the margin by which it did so.

But then again, dudes like my dad almost never go to the cinema, and this year, the only movie he'll probably go out to watch is indeed the returning Indy.

"several thousand movie fans" who should be set on fire.

DK is the ONLY blockbuster worth worth seeing this year.

But the best films this year will be:

Synecdoche, New York- by Charlie Kaufman.

and

Mr. Lonely- by Harmony Korine.

First of all, I also took my own poll and the only people who care about the Indy movie coming out are the same people who defend Lucas putting the osacr worthy character known to us beloved fans as Jar-Jar in the Star Wars time.

After the first weekend when Indy comes out and everyone throws up after watching a movie from a franchise that should have been left in the grave. Sometimes - - most times - - things are better left alone then to try to regain the glory (case in point - I'm sure everyone who reads this site saw the second 'Wars' trilogy, it was brutal, one can only hope that Spielberg did not allow the hack of a director that is Lucas touch the project, or we can all could be ins tore for some crazy antics from I don't know maybe a CG Indy, why not George, it would looook sooo cool...

So when the summer is all said and done people will realize that The Dark Knight was the only movie to see this summer. It's going to make roughly 800 Billion dollars, that's not an exact number, but pretty close.

Second, I know a lot of you are hating on The Love Guru, well I have something to say to that. I worked on the movie, so I may be a little bias, but the script is actually very good, Paramount has pushed off the flick like it is another 'Austin' movie, when the AP trilogies aren't even close to having the amount of content that this new flick does.

It is a very intelligent, deep piece, which I know is very surprising coming from someone like Myers. He has some how managed to actually apply content to his toilet humor that has followed him for so many years....

that is all...

I've just conducted my own informal poll of friends and The Dark Knight took 125% of the vote, with Indy a close second at 9%.

Don't worry about the percentages, just believe what I'm telling you.

Why would this be surprising? Indy 4 is one of the most anticipated films we've had since the return of Star Wars. People have essentially been talking about it since Ford and Co. first began discussing it way back in 1993! In the 90's, Ford could rarely make a talk show appearance without being asked about it. There were also several times when it generated a great deal of press, simply because it was RUMORED to begin production (ie. 1994, 1998, 2001).

Batman Begins may be a sacred cow among fanboys, but it doesn't exactly appeal to a demographic as wide as Indiana Jones. Indy 4 will not only get the Batman fanboys, but people in their 60's and 70's who may only go to see one film this summer.

It also features one of the biggest stars of the past few decades back in his signature role- likely for the final time. People go to see Indiana Jones to see Harrison Ford. They go to see Batman to see Batman.

Personally, I'm a fan of both franchises. But if forced to decide between the two, I would have no problem picking the man in the hat over the one in the cowl.

Indiana Jones and The Dark Knight are definately must
see movies. I can't believe Lara Croft is in the top ten.
Those movies are poop. I'd have to say Bruce Willis is
my favorite action star, I can't get enough of those
Die Hard flicks.

Yippie-ki-ya Motherfucker!
