The only reason I didn't is because Jim Sturgess is a pretty pretty. The book is interesting and exciting but the tone of this movie is all wrong. Plus, all the conflict, especially coming from the Laurence Fishbourne character, felt forced. And I love Kevin Spacey but he came off as a creeper molester gross. Oh my gosh this movie was so terrible I was going to leave. The only reason I didn’t is because Jim Sturgess is a pretty pretty.

Whatever, its Hollywood. I guess they made it up by having two other card counting Asian characters in the film. Wait a go Hollywood on balancing it out. lol. Besides, its loosly based on the book so they got away way with this one. haha.. Come on... we all know the biggest gamblers come from Hong Kong.
