Well THIS will confuse the fuck out of people when they remake The Breakfast Club... you know it will happen with the ridiculous remake trend these days. Oh, no - wait, hang on - that would have a new cliche'd 'floating heads' poster, huh. My bad. As you were.

[...] I know I’ve railed just recently about how very very derivative Hollywood can be. And prefers, enjoys and otherwise profits from being. But isn’t this American Teen one-sheet (click to see it larger) just really going ridiculously far? I understand that it’s a documentary and as such may find some challenges in marketing itself as a viable piece of movie entertainment. But it’s one thing to be inspired by another piece of art or pop culture. It’s another thing - a far more boring one - to simply copy it. At first glance, I assumed that this was a Scary Movie-like parody, or perhaps a delightful theatrical play program from the Pulaski, Wisconsin, High School Thespian Society. (via /film) [...]

I can understand some of the tweaks that were done to the wardrobe, but why would someone still be sporting gloves if not an athlete or a racer of sorts. I know many crotch rocket riders to know you don't sport fingerless gloves, or the type he's wearing. I have seen the Breakfast Club back in the day, caught it as a teen, so I understood the movie then. Now, looking on this recycled script it may still appeal to this new generation as the other did for us back then. I still won't watch it, but it doesn't mean I will hate it when I eventually watch it. I told my little sister who is going to turn 13 to watch this, as she can't stomach the older version.

The Blonde looks pretty hot. The other girl's cute too. The guys looks goofy though. The guy wearing the glove looks like he could be a teen from the original Breakfast Club. And haven't we had enough films with the title American in them in the past decade?
