His next project is Jennifer’s Body with Diablo Cody. Basically another “ultra hip” teen horror flick, that allegedly tries to eschew some old cliches. I’ve heard some who’ve read the script say its much weaker than Juno, that the character development has some serious issues. This was before a recent rewrite though, so we’ll see what the finished result is…

I have absolutely no idea what Reitman is adapting.
And I bet we’ll all be damn surprised when he announces what he’s doing as well.

Company is a perfect fit for Reitman. Also, someone is trying to adapt one of Max Barry’s ‘Jennifer Government’, they’ve had the IMDb page up for some time.

This sounds good. I’m glad he is writing this himself. I thought Thank You For Smoking was a very promising debut and was disappointed that he directed a film written by a far inferior writer for his sophomore effort.

And two movies isn’t enough for J.K. Simmons to be called a regular. Maybe after this next one is made.
