Yep, another day, another brown drip of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li casting news. Actor Neal McDonough (Minority Report, Ravenous, The Hitcher) will fill the shiny boots of the late Raul Julia in the role of the video game adaptation’s muscled militant villain M. Bison (below, nice likeness). McDonough joins a short bus that includes Michael Clark Duncan as Balrog, Chris Klein as Nash, and Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk as the lightning fast gal with the, uh, pinwheel kick. This movie is going to rock so hard.

That last line you wrote. You’re kidding right?

Well can’t be any worse then the first.

    Or can it?!?!

  2. Gravatar

Without the movie even being made yet I can say it will be better than Van Damme’s movie. That ridiculous movie was painful to watch.

  3. Gravatar

My vote is for Van Damme. This new one is but a lemming.

  4. Gravatar

My personal choice for a B movie Bison like this would have been the baddie from Transporter 2. At least that guy could fight.

  5. Gravatar

Well, I haven’t seen Chun Li’s yet, Hunter.

  6. Gravatar

Maybe they made a few street fighter games after i stopped playing, but who the hell is Nash?

  7. Gravatar

    This film will B-Low

  8. Gravatar

WHAT?! they’re making another sf2 movie. when did the execs sit around and think “you know what we need to revive the incredible success of the Street Fighter series” I mean and also why don’t they make Ryu the center of the movie he was the central character in the game? I don’t get it.

  9. Gravatar

I’ve been hearing that they’re filming this where I live.

    @ Antibodies

    You live in hell? Ouch.

  11. Gravatar

I don’t understand how they can make a whole film around a game that essentially has no plot besides…

” People fighting in the street”

    and then what happens?

Then after they’re done , more people fight in the street!!

    all at once?

    no…Its always 1 vs 1!!

    The same street?

No…Its a different street every time!!

    Awesome!!

  12. Gravatar

    good choice!!!

  13. Gravatar

new one HAS to be better.
I seriously cannot see it being worse than the last one

  14. Gravatar

Chun Li has to be better then the Van Damme’s street fighter…I mean that was just awful.

But i have to give the Van Damme Street Fighter some credit, it was not nearly as bad as Double Dragon

  15. Gravatar

anyone who is wondering who nash is? it’s the japanese name 4 guiles partner charlie.

  16. Gravatar

ok, other than the guy who turns into Blanca in the first crappy movie. i dont remember there being a character named Charlie that you coudl fight with

  17. Gravatar

im not a big SF fan but it seems that this guy isnt big enough to play this guy. They look alike in the face though.

  18. Gravatar

the movie took the liberty of making blanka and charlie the same charactor, and in the alpha series there is no guile only charlie(nash) with the same exact moves

  19. Gravatar

i wonder if its based on a game, i doubt its a remake of sf2, i want some 3rd strike charactors damnnit

  20. Gravatar

For jmoney: Nash is the Guile’s brother in arm, also now as Charlie.
in the Van Damme’s movie he become Blanka(Charles Blanka) in a ridicolous experiment.
Why the hell they hold the japanese name(Nash) i don’t now!
In this movie he probably be killed by Bison.

  21. Gravatar

NASH HIS FULL NAME WOULD BE CHARLIE NASH

  22. Gravatar

But since the Van Damme version being made, we gonna have to call him Charlie Nash Blanka. Pretty nice name afterall.
